Montu UK is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its expanding Finance team in the UK. The role involves hands-on processing of invoices, supplier payments and reconciliations, with opportunities to contribute to financial reporting and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a finance environment, are either part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or have a relevant degree, and are detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in a fast-growing business.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of experience in a finance, accounts or similar role
• Part-qualified or studying professional accounting qualifications
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to financial data
• Strong organisation and ability to prioritise deadlines
• Good communication across teams, proactive learner, adaptable
• Knowledge of Xero is advantageous

Aufgaben

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in line with procedures
• Administer weekly supplier payment runs and meet deadlines
• Prepare and process payment run files for senior management
• Create supplier payments and remittance advice per approved runs
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and ledgers
• Review employee expense claims and ensure VAT is recorded
• Assist in financial reporting and provide data to team leads
• Maintain accurate financial records and support daily finance operations
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business on finance projects
