Job summary

The One Group is seeking a Finance Assistant for a full-time, permanent role in Milton, Cambridge. You will support invoicing, payments, and monthly management accounts within a small team. The position offers hybrid working with three days in the office and two days at home.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar finance role, strong Excel skills, and an AAT Level 2 or accounting degree. This role provides broad exposure to core accounting tasks in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar finance role.
• Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level.
• AAT Level 2 or accounting degree.

Responsibilities

• Posting of invoices and setting up payments.
• Production of monthly management accounts, including journal postings in areas such as fixed assets, prepayments and accruals.
• Assist with the analysis of actual spend vs budget.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Fixed Asset Register management.
