Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is assisting a growing business in Southampton to recruit a Finance Assistant. This role offers hybrid working, providing a balanced setup between office and home, and an opportunity to develop your finance career within a dynamic team.

You will be responsible for managing and verifying sales invoices, reconciling high-volume bank and payment transactions, and supporting debtor management.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume reconciliations, ideally with exposure to credit control or sales ledger.
• Technical foundation with AAT Level 2 or 3 preferred and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage and verify sales invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile high-volume bank and payment transactions.
• Support debtor management and respond to invoice queries.
• Assist with ledger reconciliations, including cash flow and bank statement matching.
