Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Finance Assistant for our Billericay office to provide accurate and timely support across the Finance function, including Head Office expense review, freight and duty spend analysis, accruals, reconciliations and month-end accounting.

The role focuses on core transactional tasks with opportunities to progress into broader management accounting as experience grows, supporting a dynamic, fashion-focused business with multi-currency transactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance environment.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review, code and process Head Office expenses in line with company policies.
• Investigate discrepancies and support month-end reconciliation and reporting.
• Prepare monthly analysis of freight and duty costs and support accruals.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Payroll Specialist.
• Assist with employee absence and leaver administration.
• Ensure payroll information is accurate, timely and handled confidentially.
• Support account reconciliations and month-end reporting.
