Job summary

Bellway Homes is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the Yorkshire Division in Leeds. The role supports the Finance team with daily transaction processing and accurate reporting, including purchase ledger duties and ad hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, knowledge of accountancy software, and GCSEs in Maths and English. AAT qualification is desirable; the role is office-based with a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar finance role (preferred).
• Experience with accountancy software.
• COINS experience desirable.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above or equivalent.
• AAT qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchase ledger duties and reconcile invoices.
• Process invoices against orders and divisional expenses.
• Manage delivery notes from site and invoices for approval.
• Post nominal ledger journals and perform bank reconciliations.
• Weekly cash forecast and ad hoc finance tasks.
