Royal Lancaster London is hiring a Finance Assistant & Cost Controller to join our busy finance department on a permanent basis. Based at our central London property near Lancaster Gate, you will manage supplier invoices, assist with accounts payable and perform reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting.

In this role you will conduct daily revenue reconciliations between Opera PMS, POS and accounting systems, participate in month-end close, stock checks across areas, and ensure

Qualifications

• Experience processing supplier invoices and supporting accounts payable.
• Strong numerical accuracy and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hospitality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
• Assist with accounts payable functions and supplier reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Perform daily revenue reconciliations between Opera PMS, POS and accounting systems.
• Assist with month-end close, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conduct regular stock counts across restaurants, bars, kitchens and storerooms.
• Review purchase orders and goods received notes for accuracy; work hours as needed (≥40 h).
