Job summary

Royal Lancaster London is seeking a Finance Assistant & Cost Controller to join the finance department on a permanent basis with an immediate start. The role supports supplier invoicing, accounts payable, and daily revenue reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records for the hotel and its venues.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorisation.
• Assist with accounts payable functions.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Perform daily revenue reconciliations between Opera PMS, POS, and accounting systems.
• Assist with month-end close, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conduct regular stock counts across restaurants, bars, kitchens, wine cellars, and storerooms.
• Review purchase orders, goods received notes, and supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance.

As a Finance Assistant & Cost Controller, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:

• Perform daily revenue reconciliations between Opera PMS, POS, and accounting systems.

You will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil their duties and in any event not less than 40 hours.
