Halecroft Recruitment Limited in Runcorn is seeking a Finance Assistant – Cost Control to join a growing finance team. You will process invoices, perform three-way matching, and support the Lead Cost Controller with weekly payment runs.

The role offers a stable long-term career path within a busy accounts function, with a focus on cost control and administration. Previous experience in AP/finance and good Excel skills are valued.

Competenze

• Experience in accounts/finance or admin role.
• AAT part qualification or studying advantageous.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Understanding of invoice processing.
• Excellent Excel skills.

Mansioni

• Process high volume of cost of sales, agency and supplier invoices.
• Complete 3-way matching between purchase orders, GRNs and invoices.
• Manage finance inbox and respond to supplier queries.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with CIS and retention tracking documentation.
