Job summary

Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the central finance team. You will support bank reconciliations, coding of income and expenditure, and monitoring spend against budget to ensure accurate financial records for the Trust.

The role is full-time (37 hours per week), term time plus two weeks, permanent, with a Grade 6 salary of £23,958–£25,535, final pay award pending. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and Chief Finance and Operating Officer to

Qualifications

• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with financial accounting systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Clear communication with school finance officers, suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support bank reconciliations and coding of income and expenditure.
• Monitor actual spend against budget to ensure accuracy.
• Liaise with finance officers and CO.O. to ensure timely financial reporting.
