Job summary

Greensand Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a part-time finance role in Reigate to support the Central team with accounting tasks within a school trust framework.

The successful candidate will have experience in an accountancy or finance department and hold a part or full accounting/finance qualification. You will summarise information from multiple sources, collaborate to ensure accurate financial transactions and comply with current financial rules and regulations.

Job description

This is a part time role working 12-15 hours per week, days to be confirmed. The role will be based in the Central team office in Reigate School and will involve some travel to other schools in the trust.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in an accountancy or finance department and will hold a part or full accounting or finance qualification. You will also have:

• the ability to assimilate numerical/information from a number of sources and summarise succinctly
• the ability to work collaboratively with Central team colleagues to ensure the accuracy and sound control of financial transactions in line with the Trust Finance Policy and statutory frameworks
• have a good understanding of current financial rules and regulations
• the ability to organise workload effectively and set own priorities
• ability to work to a high level of accuracy and presentation

The full time equivalent annual salary is £34,660 to £36,943 (FTE) (£10,703 - £11,408 Pro rata based on 12 hours).
