ZIGUP is seeking a Banking Operations Assistant to join our Finance team in Darlington with hybrid working. You will help support day-to-day banking activities, ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time, and complete reconciliations with precision.

The role requires experience in banking operations or finance administration, strong detail orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. We offer a competitive salary (£26,626) and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking Operations, finance administration, or cash management.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to processing financial transactions.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn new systems, processes and procedures quickly.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
• AAT qualification, or study towards AAT, would be advantageous.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and working collaboratively as part of a team.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience working in a Banking Operations, finance administration, cash management or similar role.
