Our excellent client, based in Stroud, is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their small and growing finance team (including an office dog!) on a full-time, permanent basis.

This business has a number of clients relying on them for finance assistance. Therefore, you will need to be a friendly point of contact for queries and processing.

Although beneficial, finance experience or qualifications are NOT necessary, so long as you are keen to learn. Other benefits include free parking, flexible hours, and potential ad-hoc home working days following training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with finance/accounts email inbox.
  • Use document scanning system for import, coding, authorization, and export to system.
  • Prepare payment runs – weekly and monthly.
  • Allocate payments.
  • Load payments onto various banks relevant to each client.
  • Issue payment remittances where relevant.
  • Handle supplier statement reconciliations and queries.
  • Post and reconcile expense claims.
  • Perform general administration tasks.

Experience

  • Computer literacy, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Friendly, team-oriented attitude.
  • Well organized.

Salary: up to £27,000 depending on experience.
