Job summary

Keele University Students' Union is recruiting a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team on a 20-hour per week, 52 weeks per year basis, with hybrid working from Newcastle. The role is permanent and aimed at maintaining smooth day-to-day finances.

You will support weekly payroll and monthly reconciliations, alongside managing purchase and sales ledgers, and student group finances and grants. We are proud to be a Disability Confident employer.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide a professional and timely completions of the weekly payroll and relevant weekly and monthly conciliations.

A key member of the Finance Team, supporting the Assistant Accountant and Finance Business Partner to provide a smooth day to day running of the Keele SU Finance office with tasks including where relevant:

• Purchase ledger
• Sales ledger
• Student Group finances and grants
