CV Screen Ltd is pleased to recruit a Finance Assistant for an established manufacturing and distribution business based in Halesowen. You will manage sales and purchase ledgers, credit control, banking and reconciliations, helping ensure smooth day-to-day finances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transactional accounting including sales and purchase ledgers and credit control.
• Confident with bank and supplier reconciliations, VAT and Excel.
• AAT qualification or studying; Sage 200 experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Raise and check customer invoices, keep customer accounts up to date and chase overdue balances.
• Match and process supplier invoices, resolve discrepancies and prepare weekly payment runs.
• Post and reconcile bank transactions in Sage 200, along with credit cards and petty cash.
• Manage daily uploads and reconciliations for the invoice-discounting facility.
• Produce aged debtor and ledger reports, support cash-flow reporting and assist with the annual audit.

Finance Assistant

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Finance Assistant on behalf of an established, independently owned manufacturing and distribution business based in Halesowen. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive finance team in a varied, hands‑on role. You’ll cover sales and purchase ledger, credit control, banking and reconciliations, and play a central part in the smooth running of the company’s day‑to‑day finances. The role offers a salary of £30,000 - £33,000, a generous pension and free on‑site parking. It would suit an organised finance professional who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Raise and check customer invoices, keep customer accounts up to date and chase overdue balances.


• Match and process supplier invoices, resolve discrepancies and prepare weekly payment runs.


• Post and reconcile bank transactions in Sage 200, along with credit cards and petty cash.

What Experience is Required

• Proven experience in a transactional accounting or accounts technician role, covering sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control.


• Confident with bank and supplier reconciliations, VAT and Excel.


• AAT qualified or studying, with Sage 200 or invoice‑discounting experience an advantage.
