Job summary

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Finance Assistant based in Glasgow, with a salary of around £30,000 with hybrid working & other perks and benefits.

The Finance Director and Head of Finance will provide exposure to month-end management accounts, forecasts, budgets and financial reporting, offering a clear path for development and career progression within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounts/finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Confidence communicating with clients or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage client queries via email and telephone.
• Process client payments, refunds and invoicing.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support purchase ledger processing and payment runs.
• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Resolve supplier queries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the Finance Director with ad hoc finance duties.

The Role

The permanent Finance Assistant will work directly with the Finance Director, and Head of Finance giving the successful candidate amazing exposure & growth opportunities.

The Finance Director is committed to helping the successful candidate grow within their career, allowing them exposure to month-end management accounts, forecasts, budgets etc.

The key components of the role will be:

• Managing client queries via email and telephone.
• Processing client payments, refunds and invoicing.
• Performing bank and account reconciliations.
• Supporting purchase ledger processing and payment runs.
• Assisting with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Resolving supplier queries and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc finance duties.

Candidate Profile
