Robert Half are partnered with a family run organisation in West Lothian to appoint a Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Fully office based.
Role
This is a well-rounded Finance Assistant role. Duties include;
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Banking and Reconciliations
- Monitor Cash-flow
- Petty Cash
- Assist with Monthly Management Accounts - journals, accruals and prepayments
- Support the submission of VAT Returns and Payroll reporting
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Assist with year-end
Profile
- Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant role - ideally 1-2 years minimum
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication kills
- Strong IT skills - Sage experience is beneficial
- Drivers license and access to a car or ability to get to Broxburn
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary of £28,000-£32,000
