Howden in Milton Keynes invites you to join our Finance Operations Apprenticeship Programme. You’ll start with a structured induction, join the team, and work toward a professional qualification on a permanent role from day one while completing an 18-month development programme.

You’ll work in the office 3–4 days a week and must live within a commutable distance. During the programme you’ll learn how employee expenses are managed, check claims, support corporate card costs and supplier payments,

Qualifications

• No insurance experience required; training provided.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for 3 years.
• GCSE English and Maths requirements as listed in eligible criteria.

Responsibilities

• Learn how employee expenses are managed and review submissions.
• Check expense claims against company rules and accuracy.
• Support corporate card costs and supplier payments.
• Review invoices and prepare them for payment.
• Assist in setting up new suppliers with due diligence checks.
• Maintain clear expenses records and documentation.
• Respond to employee questions and escalate issues to AP manager.
