Job summary

Layka Recruitment Ltd. in the United Kingdom is offering a funded entry into finance for school leavers and college graduates. You will study towards the AAT qualification while gaining practical experience in a professional finance team and earning a salary.

You will be supported by experienced colleagues as you learn to process invoices, update records, and assist with reconciliations. This role is full-time at head office in Staines-upon-Thames with hybrid working after probation.

Qualifications

Nine GCSEs or equivalent at grade 5 or above, including English and Mathematics.
Three A levels at grades A–C, including at least one of Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies or Accounting.
Experience with spreadsheets, data or an office environment would be useful, but it is not essential—we will help you learn.

Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, payments and receipts.
Updating financial records, systems, spreadsheets and reports.
Supporting bank, supplier and other account reconciliations.
Responding professionally to routine questions from colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Assisting with budget monitoring and month-end and year-end activities.
Working with teams across UKAS to provide effective financial administration.
Handling financial information accurately, securely and confidentially.
