Job summary

United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) invites applicants to join the Finance team as a Finance Apprentice, earning a salary while studying towards the AAT qualification. This full-time role is based at our Head Office in Staines-upon-Thames and offers structured learning, mentorship and practical experience in finance.

You will learn by doing: processing invoices, updating records, supporting reconciliations, and assisting with budget monitoring.

Qualifications

Nine GCSEs or equivalent at grade 5 or above, including English and Mathematics
Three A levels at grades A–C, including at least one of Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies or Accounting
Experience with spreadsheets, data or an office environment would be useful, but it is not essential—we will help you learn

Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, payments and receipts.
Updating financial records, systems, spreadsheets and reports.
Supporting bank, supplier and other account reconciliations.
Responding professionally to routine questions from colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Assisting with budget monitoring and month-end and year-end activities.
Working with teams across UKAS to provide effective financial administration.
Handling financial information accurately, securely and confidentially.
