Job summary

MBDA in Bolton is offering a Finance Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship for 2027. You will start with a Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification, then progress to a Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting with AAT, delivered by BPP.

The role includes placements across Finance functions and onsite work 2-3 days a week, with a final year fully on-site to gain practical experience. Salary is £21,000 plus a £3,000 joining bonus, with fully funded qualification starting September 2027 and travel

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4, including English Language, Mathematics and a science or technology subject.
• Must complete and pass a basic 4-day pre-assessment with BPP to begin the AAT Level 3.
• MS Office/ Microsoft applications proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Placements within at least two Finance functions (onsite 2-3 days per week) during the apprenticeship.
• Final 12 months of the scheme will be full-time to gain practical experience and apply knowledge.
