Job summary

Cummins Inc. seeks an enthusiastic Finance apprentice for the Global Center of Accounts in Darlington, UK. You will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining tools and exposure to become an expert in the industry and power your potential.

The role runs five days per week, with one study day per week at Darlington College. Hours are 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with three days in the office, one day at home, and one study day.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 2 or A Level in Accounting and Finance related field is required.
• GCSE Maths and English with 3 other subjects at grade C/4+ is required.
• Proficient IT and Excel skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, consolidates, and analyzes accounting and finance information.
• Assists with production of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Makes accounting adjustments through journal entries.
• Assists with monthly and annual account reconciliations and close activities.
• Examines financial statements for completeness and accuracy; prepares tables and charts for reports.
• May participate in less complex accounting projects as a team member.
