Job summary

Unum UK in Dorking invites applications for a Finance Apprenticeship that builds your career in Finance. You’ll gain hands-on experience in reporting, FP&A, and planning while studying towards a Level 7 qualification and ACCA/CIMA.

The role is hybrid with at least three days on-site per week, starting October 2026. You’ll develop technical, analytical and commercial skills, work with experienced professionals, and contribute to real business decisions as you study towards a professional finance

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at required levels.
• Interest in Finance, Accounting and Business with numerical ability.
• Willingness to study towards ACCA or CIMA.
• Be eligible to work in the UK full-time for the duration.
• Available for full-time work from October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and planning activities.
• Assist with financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop skills in finance systems, reporting tools and Excel.
• Work with colleagues across Finance and the wider business.
• Take ownership of tasks and deliver accurate work to deadlines.
• Study towards a Level 7 Finance Apprenticeship and ACCA or CIMA.
