Job summary

Manor Hall Academy Trust is seeking an Apprentice Finance Administrator who will work under the Head of Finance to deliver a high-quality financial service across our academies. You will gain practical experience in finance and administration while pursuing a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You will attend Newcastle College one day a week to study toward an AAT Level 2 qualification, with the chance to progress to Level 3 if you continue.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Interest in pursuing a career in finance and accounting.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work well in a team with strong communication.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance functions and administration.
• Assist with financial transactions, record keeping and data entry.
• Develop understanding of financial systems and procedures.
• Contribute to the effective operation of the Trust's finance service.
