Job summary

Thurlow Nunn in King’s Lynn is offering an Accounts/Finance Apprentice position. You will study towards a Level 2 AAT Accounting qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a busy finance team and progressing through Levels 2, 3 & 4.

You’ll learn financial administration, data processing and day-to-day accounting tasks, with structured training and mentoring, plus 23 days leave and future progression opportunities within finance.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in finance, accounting, and business administration.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word – training provided).
• GCSE English and Maths (4/C) or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and data entry systems.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding financial queries.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and documentation.
• Support general administrative duties within the finance department.
