Job summary

Action for Carers Surrey is seeking a Finance and Payroll Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations from purchase and sales ledgers to payroll administration. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure accurate reporting and financial robustness for the charity in Surrey.

The role requires attention to detail, proactive collaboration, and discretion with confidential information. Guildford-based role with a supportive environment and structured benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance, bookkeeping or accounts support role.
• A good understanding of purchase ledger processes and basic accounting principles.
• Experience using financial systems, ideally Xero or similar, together with strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
• The ability to handle confidential financial and personal information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities
