Are you a finance professional looking to make a difference in a purpose-led organisation?

We're supporting a long-established UK charity that champions sustainable living and environmental education. With a passionate, close-knit team and a national reach, they're on a mission to inspire people to grow and live in harmony with nature.

As Finance & Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in managing day-to-day finance operations, producing insightful reports, and ensuring contract and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Corporate Resources, you'll be a trusted internal business partner across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead monthly reporting, management accounts, and cash flow
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, VAT, payroll, Gift Aid
  • Support contracts, audits, risk register, and compliance (H&S, GDPR, etc.)
  • Liaise with external partners (auditors, banks, pension providers)

About You:

  • Experienced in financial management (charity/public sector ideal)
  • Part- or fully-qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Skilled in Excel and finance systems (Business Central a plus)
  • Clear communicator, analytical thinker, highly organised
