Job description

Our client is a religious charitable organisation that is part of a religious order with a global presence. They are known for their work in education, social justice, and community service, and take pride in their longstanding tradition in education, which continues through their schools today.

Position: Finance and Administration Lead

This is a standalone leadership role, primarily responsible for supporting the charity, staff, and members. The successful candidate will guide the team to ensure effective management of the organisation and meet the needs of its staff and members.

  1. Oversee and manage day-to-day finances, including budget preparation, monitoring, and preparing accounts for audit.
  2. Manage property maintenance, liaising with legal and property advisers.
  3. Lead and support legal, investment, and insurance matters.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Significant experience in managing finance within an organisation, preferably within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of finance systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience in facilities, property, or office management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
