Finance Analytics Product Owner - Management Reporting

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Product Owner to define and drive the Management Reporting vision within the Finance function, shaping reporting, analytics and performance management capabilities across the organisation.

You will translate business needs into high-value, backlog-driven solutions delivered by Agile teams, balance innovation with regulatory requirements, and collaborate across Finance, Data, Engineering, Architecture and Change to deliver measurable value and improved controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner/lead with backlog ownership.
• 5+ years’ experience with Finance, management reporting, FP&A or related processes.
• Agile delivery experience, translating outcomes into user stories and product features.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Finance, Data, Engineering, Architecture and Change.
• Strong prioritisation and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience in Management Reporting, FP&A or Finance transformation.
• Knowledge of Oracle EPM and reporting platforms.
• Experience delivering products within large-scale data and technology change programmes.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a clear vision for Management Reporting.
• Shape reporting, analytics and performance management capabilities across Finance.
• Lead data-driven performance management and analytics.
• Influence organisational tooling, process and reporting strategy.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog.
• Translate business needs into high-value solutions delivered through Agile teams and methodology.
• Balance innovation, technical debt, regulatory requirements and stakeholder priorities.
• Simplify and modernise reporting processes through automation, standardisation and data-driven decision‑making.
• Drive adoption of solutions that reduce manual effort, improve controls and provide richer business insight.
• Collaborate across Finance, Data, Engineering, Architecture and Change teams.
• Engage senior stakeholders to align priorities and deliver measurable value.
