Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting a Finance Analyst (Order to Cash) for a 3-month contract at Salford Quays with hybrid working (3 days onsite). You will drive key financial controls, reconciliations and reporting within a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and governance.

The role requires experience in reconciliations, journals and month-end activities, plus strong analytical, stakeholder management and Excel skills in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance Analyst, Financial Accountant or Management Accountant roles.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation and financial controls experience.
• Experience preparing journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience investigating variances and providing insightful commentary.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Strong Excel skills in complex finance environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver key financial control and reconciliation activities.
• Prepare and review accounting journals, accruals, prepayments and other adjustments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items.
• Analyze financial data, identify variances and root causes.
• Produce financial commentary and reporting for decision-making.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with policies and audit requirements.
• Build relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation and keep training materials updated.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, reporting and processes through automation and standardisation.
• Support internal and external audits and finance transformation initiatives.
