Confidential in Borehamwood is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant with a strong focus on financial analysis to join our growing automotive dealer group. You will analyse dealership performance, margins and KPI data to deliver actionable insight for senior management.

This role blends management accounting with business partnering, requiring excellent Excel skills and the ability to translate numbers into strategic recommendations; hybrid working is available and a clear path for career

Qualifications

• Analytical finance professional with strong data interpretation skills.
• Experience in financial reporting and performance analysis is essential.
• Proficiency in Kerridge or similar dealer management systems.
• Understanding of dealership accounting and KPIs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyse regular financial and management reports.
• Analyse dealership performance, margins, costs and profitability.
• Identify trends, variances and areas for improvement.
• Provide KPI and performance analysis for senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models and commentary on movements.
• Collaborate with operational teams to explain financial results.
