Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland is seeking a motivated Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in Birmingham. You will support day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement, under the Accounts Payable Manager.

The role offers a supportive, fast-paced environment with opportunities to build relationships across the business, contribute to process improvements, and develop finance knowledge through mentoring and training.

Qualifications

• Some experience in an administrative, finance or accounts-based role.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately when processing financial information.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Good communication skills, with the confidence to build positive working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Check and process supplier invoices and payments.
• Respond to invoice and payment queries and assist colleagues and suppliers with finance-related enquiries.
• Support day-to-day processing and contribute to continuous improvement in accounts payable.
