Job summary

Immediate is seeking an Accounts Assistant in London to support the Finance team with accurate recording of financial commitments and timely supplier payments. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and FD on planning and reporting, while maintaining strong processes and controls.

The role requires good numeracy, attention to detail and ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Hybrid working and a range of wellbeing benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA studies in progress or planned.
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable is desirable.
• Strong numeracy and literacy (Maths/English GCSE Grade C or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Record all outstanding liabilities to third party suppliers accurately.
• Ensure timely payments in line with company policy.
• Assist with employee expenses and credit card processes per policy.
• Set up new suppliers on the AP ledger with necessary checks.
• Close AP ledger per month-end timetable and update creditor listings.
