Are you ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment? Our Commercial Finance team is crucial to our success, partnering across the Group to deliver detailed planning and forecasting. We drive commercial success and fulfil our mission of helping every household make the most of their money.
As a Finance Analyst, you will be a key player within the customer and insurance functions. You'll provide invaluable support (and challenge!) on all key decisions, delivering detailed insights into performance and its drivers. Your role will help optimise performance and achieve ambitious growth targets.
Trading Process: Operate robust trading processes to deliver insights and drive commercial performance. Keep Customer and Insure teams informed of financial performance through key performance indicators. Coordinate cross-vertical marketing initiatives and continuously improve trading insights with Data and BI teams.
Decision Support: Act as a strategic partner to drive value creation and growth, support customer propositions like MSM SuperSaveClub, and develop business cases for key projects. Conduct insightful post-investment reviews.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead quarterly re-forecast and budget planning processes, deliver detailed in-month forecasting, and provide insightful analysis and commentary.
Processes and Continuous Improvement: Manage controls over commercial decisions and planning, drive continuous improvement in reporting and forecasting, ensure data integrity, and innovate finance processes.
Management Accounting: Review management accounts for commercial reasonableness and significant judgements impacting commercial results.
