Job summary

A leading company in luxury e-tailing is seeking a Finance Analyst for a 3-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting the migration of financial data to Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring data integrity, and minimizing disruption. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, a finance-related degree, and experience with data migration processes.

Finance Analyst – Data Migration (3 Months Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Analyst - Data Migration to support the successful migration of financial data from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics as part of a wider systems implementation project.

This role will be critical in ensuring data integrity, minimizing business disruption, and supporting go-live readiness.

  2. You have a strong understanding of financial processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.

What will I be doing?

  1. Supporting the end-to-end data migration process from legacy systems to the new platform.
  2. Extracting, cleansing, validating, and loading large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
  3. Developing and executing data migration plans, schedules, and reconciliation processes.
  4. Creating and maintaining data mapping documentation between the two systems.
  5. Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolving data-related issues.
  6. Providing post-migration support, including validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  7. Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and reporting on migration status to project stakeholders.

  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform analysis, transformation, and reconciliation of large data sets.
  4. Strong financial background to understand double entries and impact on financial statements.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  6. Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion with minimal supervision. Involvement in finance transformation or system implementation projects is a plus.
  7. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  8. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
