Job Role: Finance Analyst (0621)

As an Asset Management Analyst, you will contribute to our vision of being the UK's favourite property manager by:
- Taking ownership of all client financial reporting to asset management clients.
- Assisting in the AVIVA SPV year-end audit efficiently.
- Ensuring all reporting KPIs to asset management clients are met.
- Ensuring accuracy of month-end reporting for corporate management accounts.
This role reports to the Senior Business Partner - Commercial & Asset Management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain month-end schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and management accounts for the client's SPVs and Limited Partnership Entity.
- Produce quarterly management reports for client entities in a timely manner.
- Resolve account issues and ensure quality service to the asset management client.
- Collaborate effectively with auditors for smooth audits and optimal outcomes.
- Proactively liaise with analysts/managers on audit and accounting concerns.
- Perform bank reconciliations and process bank payments.
- Prepare prepayments and accruals, maintaining relevant schedules.
- Conduct monthly analyses for the Commercial & Asset Management divisions.
- Assist in weekly KPI reporting to AVIVA operations management.
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Build strong business partnerships with operations teams.
- Present monthly results and analysis to management.
- Identify process efficiencies.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and analysis.
- Take responsibility for personal development and contribute positively to the team through innovative ideas and feedback.
Skills and Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Preferably working towards a professional qualification.
- Friendly, professional demeanor, comfortable communicating across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Understanding of statutory reporting and SPVs is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Qube/Sage is advantageous.
- Keen problem solver with an inquisitive nature.
- Proactive and meticulous approach.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a clear understanding of deadlines.
- Industry experience and understanding are preferred.
