Job summary

Your Golf Travel is seeking a Finance Analyst to deliver accurate monthly management reporting packs, support the monthly board pack, and produce KPI and trading reports to illuminate regional performance.

You will build and maintain forecasting models for P&L and Capex, collaborate with the Financial Control team, and contribute to performance insights in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial travel business.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified accountant with degree or equivalent
• Experience in FP&A activities or similar financial analysis
• Proven financial modelling skills and advanced spreadsheet abilities
• Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial growth businesses with drive to improve
• Highly accurate and reliable with strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of all financial statements and key drivers

• Generate KPI initiative reporting and track with functional stakeholders
• Analyze performance to highlight key considerations for senior management

• Support Capital Investment Appraisal analysis (Pre and Post Investment)
• Collaborate with Financial Control to ensure accuracy of reporting and insightful analysis

The Finance Analyst will provide accurate and timely reporting of performance; both financial and non-financial KPIs. They will provide insightful analysis of financial performance, including variance and trend analysis to enable improved business decision making. They will build and maintain forecast models to project financial performance. The role will support their line manager and others in driving the performance of the business, ensuring accuracy of outputs at all times.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare monthly management reporting pack and support monthly board pack production

• Produce flash trading reporting, enhancing business understanding of regional/destination performance

• Produce KPI initiative reporting and tracking alongside functional stakeholders

• Analyze performance to highlight key considerations to senior management

• Build and maintain financial forecasting models for various P&L lines and for Capex

• Support Capital Investment Appraisal analysis (Pre and Post Investment)

• Collaborate closely with Financial Control team to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and enable insightful analysis for performance management

What We’re Looking For:

Essential

• Newly qualified accountant, degree educated (or equivalent)

• Experience of FP&A activities

• Proven financial modelling skills, advanced spreadsheet skills

• Enjoys fast paced, entrepreneurial growth businesses with associated personal drive to succeed/improve

• Highly accurate and reliable, with strong attention to detail

• Strong understanding of all financial statements and associated key drivers

Preferred

• Travel industry experience

• Proficient in the use of Google products as well as Microsoft and Tableau
