Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analysis and insight to support budgeting and forecasting, thereby driving informed decisions and improving financial performance with a focus on manufacturing KPIs.

You will build cross-functional relationships with stakeholders, assist with month-end close, and deliver timely reports while supporting continuous improvement across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Previous management accounts experience essential and ideally working towards an accountancy qualification.
• Experience in Finance within a Logistics or FMCG/Manufacturing environment is a benefit but not essential.
• Numerate and literate.
• Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial reporting (weekly flash, weekly P&L, month-end close) is accurate and timely.
• Report and communicate KPIs to monitor and drive positive change.
• Ensure input into costings is accurate and timely.
• Build cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support budget quarterly forecasts, understanding key drivers for strategic decisions.
• Prepare and monitor monthly reports and resolve queries promptly.
• Validate and monitor excellence initiatives for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision making.

What you'll be doing

We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst to provide analysis and insight to support stakeholders, thereby driving informed decisions and supporting a robust budgeting and forecasting approach, optimising financial performance with a particular focus on relevant key performance indicators within manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure financial reporting for example, weekly flash, weekly profit and loss and, month end close, are completed accurately and within agreed timescales
• Report and communicate key performance indicators to monitor and drive positive change
• Ensure input into costings is accurate and within agreed timescales
• Build cross functional relationships with key stakeholders
• Support budget quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform strategic decision making
• Preparation and monitoring of monthly reports and ensure queries are resolved in timely and effective manner
