Job summary

The Niche Partnership in Fareham is seeking a Finance Analyst to join a close-knit team in a brand-new office space. You will produce monthly management accounts, analyse profit and loss, and provide commentary to support budgets and forecasts; hybrid working is the norm.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights and process improvements using MS Dynamics, with strong Excel skills and ACCA/CIMA progression or equivalent. A long-term, committed mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role (Assistant Management Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Analyst).
• Good understanding of technology and a passion for interpreting numbers.
• Strong Excel skills with XLOOKUPs, Pivots and advanced formulas.
• Early stages of ACCA or CIMA study, or QBE with relevant experience.
• Mindset for improvements and long-term commitment to the role.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts, preparing and analysing profit and loss, and providing actuals reporting against budget with commentary.
• Breaking down P&L into operational and department categories, interrogating results, and supporting reforecasting and budgeting.
• Calculating and understanding fuel prices and customer recharges.
• Working with large data sets to provide detailed MI for senior management review.
• Reviewing operational costs and supporting with ad hoc analysis.
• Supporting process improvement, efficiency, and automation within MS Dynamics.
