Red Rock Consultants are seeking a Finance Analyst / Finance Assistant to join their finance team in Redditch. The role involves budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting in a hands-on finance environment.

The successful candidate will help with planning, analysis and performance reporting while maintaining robust financial controls and accurate accounting records using Xero. A commercial mindset and detail-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience within a finance, accounting or analytical role.
• Proven experience using Xero.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Prepare financial analysis, management reports and KPI dashboards.
• Assist with cashflow forecasting and performance analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
• Complete balance sheet and other financial reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting.
• Manage receivables and support transactional finance activities.
• Assist with credit control and debtor reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across finance processes.
• Present financial information clearly to support business decision-making.

FINANCE ANALYST / FINANCE ASSISTANT

SALARY: Up to 32,500 DOE

Red Rock Consultants are working with a well-established healthcare organisation, who are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their finance team.

Our client is looking for a commercially aware and detail-focused finance professional who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial analysis.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis, whilst maintaining robust financial controls and accounting records.
