Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager for a Warrington-based business. This is a permanent, office-based role offering 4 or 5 days per week and a salary of £35,000-£41,000 with a monthly profit share bonus.

You will cover Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, reconciliations, expenses, a small weekly payroll and monthly Management Accounts, with involvement across the full day-to-day accounts function.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Assistant/Manager roles.
• Experience with Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
• Experience with Management Accounts.
• Understanding of month-end processes (accruals & prepayments).
• Experience with bank reconciliations.
• Weekly payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Processing Purchase and Sales Ledger invoices.
• Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices.
• Managing the Sales Ledger and customer accounts.
• Reconciling supplier statements and discrepancies.
• Processing a small weekly payroll.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Producing monthly Management Accounts.
• Completing month-end journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Investigating discrepancies and finance queries.
