Job summary

A&O Shearman in London is seeking an Innovation Executive to join the Finance Innovation team. The role focuses on accelerating AI adoption, driving efficiency, and delivering client-focused AI-enabled services within Finance practice groups.

You will support the AI adoption plans, create practical solutions, and run training sessions while collaborating across jurisdictions and practice areas to ensure successful deployment of technology-driven initiatives.

• Experience using AI and legal tech tools in finance workflows.
• Proven change-management and project-delivery experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Proactive mindset with ability to turn ideas into practical solutions.
• Comfort with data analytics to inform decisions and measure impact.
• Ability to work in an agile, iterative environment across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Understand Finance Practice Groups to identify AI-driven opportunities and pain points.
• Inform how Finance teams leverage AI tools and technologies in workflows.
• Use analytics and forums to identify needs and opportunities for AI adoption.
• Develop and track AI adoption plans and KPIs aligned with firm strategy.
• Prioritize high-impact AI use cases and document reusable solutions for the toolkit.
• Keep Finance teams informed with updates and examples of AI adoption.
• Design and deliver bite-sized training sessions and run workshops/hackathons.
• Foster engagement between innovation teams and Finance fee-earners to drive adoption.
