Qualifications

• Experience in finance or bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Meticulous, organised approach with high accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Clear written and spoken communication with a professional telephone manner.
• Reliable, collaborative, motivated with strong attendance and long-term career focus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day finance administration for a portfolio of businesses, from purchase and sales ledgers to monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage credit control and arrears to keep cash flowing in a timely, methodical way.
• Process supplier invoices and payments accurately through banking and management systems.
• Support budgets, year-end accounts, and financial analysis for director meetings.
• Be the trusted finance contact for stakeholders with patience and clarity.
• Help refine and improve financial controls and data accuracy as the business grows.
