Job description

We are a small but passionate team dealing with clients from all over the world. We are currently looking for a Credit Controller / Finance Administrator and all-round administrative star to be based at our Wellingborough head office. If you have an interest in sport, fine art, antiques, and collectables you could be part of our growing team who are responsible for the sales of anything from football shirts to Grand Prix trophies!


BASIC SALARY: A£27,000 per annum

JOB DESCRIPTION: Finance Administrator, Credit Controller, Administrator - Auctions and Sport Memorabilia


The primary focus of the Credit Controller / Finance Administrator is to assist in the finance administration of our auctions. We are growing fast and looking to add to our team; you will report into the CEO but will be equally happy to work with minimal supervision.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Processing payments and generating invoices
  2. Sending statements and chasing payments
  3. Ensuring sellers are kept informed
  4. Maintaining our bespoke auction software system (training will be provided)
  5. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and customers and resolving any queries

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Ideally, you will be an experienced Finance Administrator with a general finance background. Integrity and maintaining the confidentiality of financial information is important.


The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:

  1. Excellent numeracy skills and competent with IT systems
  2. Excellent communication skills at all levels across all mediums
  3. A genuine desire to 'pitch in' and be a team player and key part of a business
  4. Experience within a similar role
  5. The ability to take ownership of tasks/projects
