Job summary

Cyber Security Academy Southampton is offering a Financial Accounts Apprenticeship with exposure to statutory accounts, month-end processes, and treasury activities. You will work with the Financial Accountant and Head of Financial Accounting to support group financial statements and the Unit4 ERP system.

We value accuracy, teamwork and a proactive approach to learning, as you progress toward the Level 3 AAT Diploma in Accounting while combining home and campus work.

Qualifications

• Motivated and detail-oriented with a willingness to develop through apprenticeship.
• Good foundation from relevant experience, vocational training or academic qualifications (A Levels or equivalent).
• Aspiration to progress towards professional accounting qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and external audits.
• Carry out day-to-day accounting activities for subsidiary companies.
• Support the operation of the Unit4 ERP finance system.
• Support month-end processes, reconciliations, and treasury activities.
• Provide administrative support to the Financial Accounts team and contribute to project work.
• Engage with apprenticeship programme and work toward Level 3 AAT.
