Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Data Engineering Manager for Finance & Accounting to lead a team building data pipelines, platforms, and integrations supporting accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting at scale.

You will partner with Finance, Accounting and Engineering to translate regulatory and operational requirements into auditable backend systems, guiding technical decisions and delivering reliable data products.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data or software engineering, including 2+ years leading engineering teams.
• Hands-on with modern data infrastructure tools and credible stack decisions.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes including revenue recognition and close workflows.
• Clear communicator who aligns Finance, Accounting, Compliance and Engineering.
• Experience with distributed systems, data quality frameworks, and SOX-relevant controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic roadmap and execution for accounting infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable backend systems.
• Lead and mentor engineers, setting technical direction and fostering high performance.
• Drive improvements in data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system scalability.
