Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a growing international business in a key finance role focused on statutory reporting, audits and financial controls. You will work closely with senior leadership and have the opportunity to progress towards a Financial Controller position as the business scales.

You will lead statutory accounts, manage audits, oversee month-end close, strengthen cash flow reporting and drive process improvements across Europe, gaining exposure to international operations while

Qualifications

• Strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience.
• Audit background, ideally a first-time mover from practice.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and good systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the annual audit process.
• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting activities.
• Review cash flow reporting and strengthen financial controls.
• Support and develop junior transactional finance team members.
• Partner with operational and senior leadership teams across the business.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to future systems and ERP projects.
• Gain exposure to international operations, including collaboration with European entities.
