Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring for an Onsite role in Wolverhampton to support final inspection and quality control for aerospace components. You will read drawings, work with production teams to hit targets, and maintain traceability, while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds or similar vocational qualification in fabrication, mechanical or engineering subject.
• Proven experience in Final Inspection.
• Experience with inspecting Steel and Aluminium products.
• Experience working to high tolerance.
• Familiarity with precision tools such as verniers, digital calipers or measuring gauges.
• Experience in aerospace, motorsport or similar industries is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly guidelines.
• Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines.
• Support ACE activities (5s, TPM, Turnbacks, Clinics).
• Maintain LOT traceability and quality control.
• Continue ongoing internal and external training to welding certification requirements.
• Ensure working environment is clean, organised and company standards.
• Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
