Job summary

Princes Group in Cardiff is seeking a Filler Operative to run the filler on the production line, perform routine checks and tests, and help maximise efficiency while minimising waste. You will document checks and work as part of the Production team.

The role is on a three-shift pattern, onsite at our Cardiff site. Applicants should have basic food hygiene training, be safety conscious, and able to follow health and safety procedures to keep the area clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cleaning, operating and maintaining the filler.
• Experience with packaging equipment on filling lines.
• Basic food hygiene training completed.
• Awareness of emergency procedures and safety implications of hazardous materials.
• Manual handling training completed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine checks and tests on the filler according to schedule.
• Ensure correct packaging and carton coding.
• Maintain safe operating environment and minimise wastage.
• Keep the filler area clean and comply with clean-as-you-go policy.
• Liaise with Team Leader regarding production plan and issues.
• Document maintenance and cleaning activities accurately.
