Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established engineering services business covering the South East. You will carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on pumping and fluid handling systems at commercial, industrial and public sites.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with pumps, booster sets, wastewater systems or related controls

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on pumping systems and associated equipment
• Work on booster sets, pressurisation units, wastewater systems, pump stations, inverters and control panels
• Manage van stock and ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
• Participate in a call-out rota and occasional overnight stays when required

A well-established engineering services business specialising in pumping and water management solutions is looking to add a Field Service Engineer to its growing service team. Covering the South East, this is a varied role working across commercial, industrial and public sector customer sites on a wide range of pumping and fluid handling equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience, particularly those with a background in pumps, booster sets, wastewater systems or associated controls.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on pumping systems and associated equipment
• Work on booster sets, pressurisation units, wastewater systems, pump stations, inverters and control panels
• Manage van stock and ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
• Participate in a call-out rota and occasional overnight stays when required

The Candidate

• Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar engineering role
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer relationships
• Full UK driving licence

Package

• £44,638 basic salary based on a 42.5-hour week
• Overtime and travel time paid with realistic earnings of £55,000 - £60,000+
• Company van, fuel card, mobile phone and major tools provided
• 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 25 days with service
