Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead water treatment projects across on-site environments in the North West. This field-based leadership role involves supervising engineers, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of technical services to clients.

You will oversee complex remedial works, audits, and quality inspections, while promoting safe working practices and compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and water hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within the water treatment industry.
• Experience managing field-based engineers or technical teams.
• Knowledge of closed systems, cooling towers, boiler treatment, disinfection, and remedial works.
• Understanding ACOP L8, HSG274, and water hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of water treatment projects and related works.
• Provide technical support to engineers and site teams.
• Attend client sites to oversee complex works and quality inspections.
• Manage project mobilisation, delivery, and completion to deadlines.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, materials, and resources.
• Support troubleshooting across closed systems, cooling towers, and dosing.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication.
• Promote safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
